This is my fifth year teaching. I began by teaching career at Grand Rapids Central High School where I taught Geometry and Algebra II. After Central, I taught for two years at Northwest Career Pathways where I also taught math. Last year I was fortunate enough to be able to become apart of the Academy for Design and Construction at Union High School. I am so excited to see how this amazing program is developing. I am responsible for teaching the 9th grade introductory course of Design and Construction. We receive amazing support from our industry partners and community in this program. It truly sets the Academy apart from the other programs in Grand Rapids. I feel honored to be a part of this program.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family (my fabulous husband and two amazing children). I am so thankful for them. They make me smile every day!
